Arreno, Aspirin/ Dipyridamole

Aspirin is used in the treatment to reduce fever and relieve mild to moderate pain from conditions such as muscle aches, toothaches, common cold, and headaches. Aspirin is also used to reduce pain and swelling in conditions such as arthritis.

Aspirin is known as a salicylate and a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).Aspirin blocks an enzyme called cyclooxygenase, or COX, and stops production of substances called prostaglandins that contribute to pain, swelling and fever.

Dipyridamole is used in the treatment of stroke prevention. Dipyridamole is also used to prevent blood clots after heart valve replacement surgery.

Dipyridamole helps to prevent platelets in the blood from sticking together and forming a blood clot. Dipyridamole helps to prevent a thrombus forming in an artery, which will reduce the risk of a heart attack or a stroke.
