Dexketoprofen

Dexketoprofen is used as a painkiller or pain reliever. Dexketoprofen is used in fever, headache,sprains, strains, arthralgia, myalgia, dental pain, post operative pain, pain during menstruation, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and gout.

Dexketoprofen is known as an anti-inflammatory painkiller. Dexketoprofen is also called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or just anti-inflammatories.Dexketoprofen works by blocking the effect of cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes. These enzymes help to make other chemicals in the body, called prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are produced at sites of injury or damage, and cause pain and inflammation. Dexketoprofen works by blocking the effect of COX enzymes, where then fewer prostaglandins are produced, and the pain is then elevated.
