Hydro-VI, Hydroxychloroquine

Hydro-VI or HCQS is used in the treatment of malaria, rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus.

Hydro-VI works by blocking the action of chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation, swelling and redness which are associated with certain autoimmune diseases. Hydro-VI suppresses the underlying disease process, rather than simply treating the disease thus helping to reduce the symptoms.
