Urorec is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate).

Urorec is known as an alpha-adrenergic blocker. Urorec works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland, making it easier for the urine to pass through and it is easier to urinate.
