Erythropoietin Injection is used in the treatment of anemia, anemia due to chemotherapy , Anemia due to zidovudine in hiv-infected patients, Anemia due to cancer chemotherapy, Neurological diseases and anemia due to chronic kidney disease.

Erythropoietin Injection is known as an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent or ESA. Erythropoietin Injection works by stimulating the bone marrow. Bone marrow is the soft tissue inside the bones which is responsible for the production of red blood cells. Thus Erythropoietin Injection helps to to produce more red blood cells by stimulating the bone marrow.
