Tenohep AF is used in the treatment of chronic hepatitis b virus (hbv) infection and hiv infections.
How it Works
Tenohep AF is an antiretroviral medicine known as nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs). Tenohep AF slows the progress of HIV infection, but it is not a cure. Tenohep AF is used with other medicines in a combination therapy. Tenohep AF works by by stopping the virus HIV from copying (replicating) itself. Tenohep AF works by stopping the hepatitis B virus from multiplying further, this reduces the amount of the virus in your body.
