Tentide AF is used in the treatment of chronic hepatitis b virus (hbv) infection and hiv infections.
How it Works
Tentide AF is an antiretroviral medicine known as nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs). Tentide AF slows the progress of HIV infection, but it is not a cure. Tentide AF is used with other medicines in a combination therapy. Tentide AF works by by stopping the virus HIV from copying (replicating) itself. Tentide AF works by stopping the hepatitis B virus from multiplying further, this reduces the amount of the virus in your body.
