Hilin, Diacerein

Hilin is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis.

Hilin is a slow‐acting drug. Hilin works by slowing the breakdown of cartilage and thus relieves pain and swelling. Hilin hereby works by inhibiting interleukin-1 beta, which is a protein involved in the inflammation and destruction of cartilage that plays a role in the development of symptoms of osteoarthritis. Therefore Hilin helps the building of cartilage in the body
