Ganciclovir

Ganciclovir is an antiviral prescribed to treat cytomegalovirus retinitis after it has been controlled by intravenous ganciclovir. It is also prescribed for the prevention of cytomegalovirus disease in transplant patients and individuals who have acquired immunodeficiency syndrome.
