Macpred is used for the treatment of severe allergic reaction, allergic disorders, asthma, rheumatic disorder, skin disorders, eye disorders, inflammation and nephrotic syndrome.

Macpred is known as a corticosteroid. Macpred has anti-inflammatory, metabolic, immune, and hormonal effects on the body. Macpred works to treat the conditions by affecting the body`s release of the substances that trigger inflammation. This release of the substances normally occurs due to an immune system response, however, Macpred works by stopping it, which leads to the treatment of of the conditions listed.
