How it Works
Sevelamer Hydrochloride is known as a phosphate binder. Sevelamer Hydrochloride helps prevent hypocalcemia which is also known as low levels of calcium in the body which is caused by elevated phosphorus. Sevelamer Hydrochloride works by inhibiting the absorption of phosphate from the intestine and thus lowers the phosphate levels in the blood.
