Corticotropin is known as an adrenocorticotropic hormone analogue. Corticotrophin Injection works by stimulating cortex of the adrenal gland to produce more adrenocortical hormones such as corticosteroids and glucocorticoids which have anti-inflammatory and other regulatory activities in body which help in treatment of infantile spasms.
