Fropenem sodium Tablet

Fropenem sodium is used for the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections. 

Fropenem sodium is known as a broad spectrum antibiotic. Fropenem sodium works by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial wall. It does this by binding itself to the penicillin binding proteins located on the bacterial cell wall thus inhibiting the final step which is transpeptidation in the synthesis of peptidoglycan which is the main component in the bacterial cell wall. This results in the weakening of the cell wall which leads to cell death.
