Lefra, Leflunomide

Lefra is used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, reduces swelling and inflammation in the body.

Lefra is known as a disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD). Lefra eases pain and stiffness associated with both of the conditions rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis, and Lefra also reduces the damaging effect of the disease on Joints. Lefra works by blocking the way inflammation develops in joints. Lefra suppresses the underlying disease process, rather than simply treating the disease.
