Ribavac is used together an interferon medication such as peginterferon alfa-2a [Pegasys] or peginterferon alpha-2b [PEG-Intron]) in the treatment of Hepatitis C virus (HCV) .
How it Works
Ribavac is an antiviral medication in the class of nucleoside analogues. Ribavac works by stopping the virus that causes hepatitis C from spreading inside the body.
