Taxim-O is an antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. Taxim-O works by attacking their cell wall in the bacteria causing the infection. Taxim-O prevents the synthesis of the substance in the cell wall called peptidoglycan, which provides the cell wall with the strength required for survival of bacteria in human body. Therefore Taxim-O works weakening and then destorying the bacterial cells making it easier for the immune system to control or destroy the infection.
