Surfact Injection is used for respiratory distress syndrome.

Colfosceril palmitate is known as a natural lung surfactant. Surfact Injection is called as dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine that works to lubricate the linings of the air spaces in lungs, this then enables normal breathing. Surfact Injection is effective in newborn babies who have difficulty in breathing due to lack of enough surfactant in their lungs. Surfact Injection is a synthetic pulmonary surfactant.
