Danavir is used in the treatment of HIV infections.
How it Works
Danavir is an antiretroviral medicine known as nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs), it works by slows down the progress of HIV infection by reducing the amount of virus in your body. Danavir does this by stopping the virus from replicating itself.Danavir blocks the action of the Reverse Transcriptase enzyme which helps the virus replicate, this results in destroying the viral HIV chain.
