Eplerenone is used in the treatment of hypertension, congestive heart failure after a heart attack, Cirrhosis and Low potassium.

Eplerenone works by blocking the action of the hormone aldosterone in the body. Aldosterone is important for the regulation of blood pressure. Eplerenone lowers swelling by removing excess water and electrolytes in the body. Eplerenone works to remove excess water and electrolytes in the body without removing potassium.

Torasemide is used in the treatment of hypertension, Swelling of lungs and also the accumulation of water in the body

Torasemide is known as a diuretic. Torasemide works by helping the kidneys and removes excess water and electrolytes from the body. Torasemide promoted the excretion of water and salts through the urine.
