Tamoxit is used in the treatment and prevention of Breast cancer.

Tamoxit works by blocking the effects of estrogen. Estrogen is a natural female hormone in breast tissue. Certain types of breast cancer require estrogen to grow thus Tamoxit blocks Estrogen stopping the growth of breast cancer cells.
