Venusmin, Diosmin

Venusmin is used in the treatment of Varicose veins.

Venusmin is known as a flavonoid. Venusmin works by dilating the blood vessels which then causes a decrease in the blood pressure in the veins. Venusmin also decreases swelling and inflammation by reducing levels of prostaglandins that cause inflammation, thereby restoring normal vein function.

Patients who take Venusmin may suffer from such side effects;

Abdominal pain,
Diarrhoea,
