Zerodol-MR, Aceclofenac / Tizanidine

Zerodol-MR is used in fever, headache, arthralgia, myalgia, dental pain, osteoarthritis, post operative pain, pain during menstruation, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and gout.

Zerodol-MR is known as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Zerodol-MR works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain, inflammation, redness and swelling.Zerodol-MR works by blocking the effect of natural substances called cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes. These enzymes help to make other chemicals in the body, called prostaglandins. Some prostaglandins are produced at sites of injury or damage, and cause pain and inflammation. By blocking the effect of COX enzymes using Zerodol-MR, fewer prostaglandins are produced, which means pain and inflammation are eased.

Patients who take Zerodol-MR may suffer from such side effects;

Vertigo,
Diarrhea,
Dyspepsia and flatulence,
Soreness affecting the abdomen,
An increase in the amount of liver enzymes in the blood

Before using Zerodol-MR, inform your doctor about your current list of medications that you are taking, any allergies you may have, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions such as if you are pregnant or if you have an upcoming surgery. Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of Zerodol-MR. Take this product as directed by your doctor, which will be adviced based on evaluation on your current health conditions. Zerodol-MR can increase the risk of blood clots, heart attack, or a stroke,therefore extra caution has to be taken with this medication. Zerodol-MR can also cause serious complications like stomach bleeding and kidney problems if taken for a extended amount of time. It is advisable to take aceclofenac with food or milk to avoid experiencing an upset stomach.
