Artrodar is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis.

Artrodar is a slow‐acting drug. Artrodar works by slowing the breakdown of cartilage and thus relieves pain and swelling. Artrodar hereby works by inhibiting interleukin-1 beta, which is a protein involved in the inflammation and destruction of cartilage that plays a role in the development of symptoms of osteoarthritis. Therefore Artrodar helps the building of cartilage in the body
