Augxetil is known as an antibiotic, Augxetil prevents the synthesis of a substance in the bacterial cell wall called peptidoglycan, which provides the cell wall with the strength required for survival of bacteria in human body. This causes the bacteria to rupture and finally death preventing the infection from spreading.
