Cefixime is an antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. Cefixime works by attacking their cell wall in the bacteria causing the infection. Cefixime prevents the synthesis of the substance in the cell wall called peptidoglycan, which provides the cell wall with the strength required for survival of bacteria in human body. Therefore Cefixime works weakening and then destorying the bacterial cells making it easier for the immune system to control or destroy the infection.

Cloxacillin is used in the treatment of bacterial infections.

Cloxacillin is an antibiotic. Cloxacillin prevents the synthesis of a substance in the bacterial cell wall called peptidoglycan, which provides the cell wall with the strength required for survival of bacteria in human body. Thus by stopping the synthesis of this product the cell is destroyed and the infection stops from spreading
