Denosta Injection is used in the treatment of osteoporosis, it is also used in the treatment of tumor that has spread to the bones or bone metastases. Denosta Injection is also used to treat certain patients with giant-cell tumor of bone that cannot be removed by surgery. Denosta Injection is also used to treat high blood calcium levels in patients with cancer.
How it Works
Denosta Injection works by inhibiting the activation of osteoclasts, which are the cells that cause loss of bone. Denosta Injection is a receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa B ligand (RANKL) inhibitor. Denosta Injection works by slowing bone loss and increasing bone strength. This helps to reduce the risk of bone-related events in patients with cancer that has spread to the bone.
