Entimate, Entecavir

Entimate is used as an antiviral treatment for patients suffering from a chronic hepatitis B infection to stop the hepatitis B virus from multiplying / replicating.

Entimate is a nucleoside analog, Entimate can inhibit the enzyme called viral DNA polymerase, it is able to prevent the spread and further spreading of the virus, this then helps to reduce the amount of virus present in the body which leads to lesser damage to the liver

Patients who take Entimate may suffer from such side effects;

Diarrhea,
Dizziness,
Headaches,
Digestive discomfort,
Sleepy or fatigued feeling,
Nausea, possibly resulting in vomiting
