Progynova injection is a form of estrogen. Estrogen is a female sex hormone required for many processes in the body. This injection may also be used for other purposes such as Postmenopausal breast cancer, prostate cancer.

This medication need to be used exactly as it was prescribed for you. The dosage for different patient may differ depending on medical condition and his response to this drug. This treatment may also cause chest pain; coughing up blood; dark urine; depression; dizziness; one-sided weakness; painful or difficult urination; persistent or severe breast pain or tenderness; severe stomach pain or swelling; slurred speech; sudden shortness of breath; sunburn-like rash; swelling of hands, legs, or feet; unusual vaginal bleeding, discharge, itching, or odor; vision changes; vomiting; weakness or numbness of an arm or leg; yellowing of the skin or eyes.

This therapy should be avoided during pregnancy. If you suppose to be pregnant, seek advice from your doctor right away. Progynova injection may excrete in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use this treatment, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.
