Labetalol is used in the treatment of angina, arrhythmias, heart attack and hypertension.
How it Works
Labetalol works by blocking tiny areas called receptors, where messages are received by the heart and blood vessels. As a result, the pressure of blood within the blood vessels is reduced, helping to relax and widen artery muscles and the heart beats more slowly and with less force.
