MMF, Mycophenolate mofetil

MMF is used for organ transplantation surgery.

Mycophenolate mofetil is known as an immunosuppressant. The human body may reject an organ transplant when the immune system treats the new organ as an invader. An immunosuppressant such as Mycophenolate mofetil helps to prevent this rejection.

Patients who take MMF　may suffer from such side effects;

Nausea,
Decreased white blood cell count,
