Telfast is an antihistamine, it stops the effects of histamine in the body which causes inflammation leading to sneezing, runny and blocked nose. Cells in the body release this chemical called histamine when they come into contact with pollen which causes allergic symptoms called hay fever. Telfast as an antihistamine stops these effects and relieve these symptoms.

Some of the potential side effects of Telfast can include the symptoms below nausea, diarrhea, upset stomach; menstrual cramps; drowsiness, tired feeling; headache; or. muscle or back pain.

Before using Telfast, inform your doctor about your current list of medications that you are taking, any allergies you may have, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions such as if you are pregnant. Take this product as directed by your doctor, which will be advice based on the evaluation of your current health conditions. You must avoid using antacids within 15 minutes before or after taking this medication to allow maximum absorption potential to be achieved. Caution is needed in elderly patients and children below six years old who take this product.
