Desifer is used in the treatment of Iron overload caused by blood transfusions and Transfusion dependent Thalassemia.
How it Works
Desifer works by trapping and removing excess iron in the body which is then excreted mainly in the stools. This action by Desifer reduces the risk of organ damage.

Patients who take Desifer may suffer from such side effects;
Nausea,
Abdominal pain,
Constipation,
Itching,
Increased liver enzymes,
