Imat, Imatinib

Imat is used for the treatment of hematologic cancer or also known as chronic myelogenous Leukemia and also gastrointestinal stromal tumors

Imatinib is an anticancer drug. It works by blocking the action of abnormal proteins that signal cancer cells to grow. This then helps stop or slow the spread of cancer cells.
