How it Works
Isoprenaline works by stimulating both β1 and β2 adrenergic receptors. Isoproterenol then lowers peripheral vascular resistance, in skeletal muscle renal and mesenteric vascular beds, thus allowing the Diastolic pressure to fall. Basically, Isoprenaline works to relax the blood vessels and increase blood flow allowing the heart pump blood with more strength and force, therefore, increasing the blood pressure as well.
