How it Works
Hydroxychloroquine works by blocking the action of chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation, swelling and redness which are associated with certain autoimmune diseases. Hydroxychloroquine suppresses the underlying disease process, rather than simply treating the disease thus helping to reduce the symptoms.
