Poxet is used in the treatment for premature ejaculation (PE) in men between the age of 18-64.

Poxet mechanism of action works by preventing serotonin reuptake so it modify's the reflex that controls ejaculation. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter which has a central role in controlling the ejaculatory process and the reduction in the transmission of Serotonin is the main cause of Premature Ejaculation. Therefore by increasing the Serotonin activity, Poxet helps to modify the ejaculatory reflex and prolong the intravaginal Latency time thus directly allowing patients with Premature Ejaculation to last longer during intercourse
