Sucralfate is used in the treatment of duodenal ulcer, intestinal ulcers and stomach ulcers.

Sucralfate works by forming a protective coating over the ulcer. This then creates a physical barrier that protects the ulcer or raw surface from the effects of gastric acid or any other injury, allowing it to heal.

Oxetacaine works by blocking pain signals from the peripheral nerves to brain which then decreases the sensation of pain.
