Vanlid, Vancomycin

Vanlid is used in the treatment of Serious bacterial infections and the symptoms it can cause. Vanlid is also used to treat staph infections that can cause inflammation of the colon and small intestines.

Vanlid is known as an antibiotic. Vanlid works by killing the bacteria by attacking the bacterial cell wall. Vanlid prevents the synthesis peptidoglycan, peptidoglycan provides the cell wall with the strength required for survival of bacteria in human body. Thus this kills the bacterial cells and stops the infection
