Zithrokem is an antibiotic. Zithrokem works by stopping the bacterial growth in infections by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Therefore Zithrokem destroys the bacterial infection as the bacteria are unable to survive anymore.
