Amifru Plus, Torasemide/ Amiloride

Amiloride is used in the treatment of hypertension, heart failure, cirrhosis and low potassium.

Amiloride is known as a beta-blocker. Amiloride works on the heart and blood vessels. Amiloride works by blocking beta-adrenergic receptors where messages sent by some nerves are received by the heart and blood vessels. As a result of Amiloride treatment, the heart beats more slowly and with less force. The pressure of blood within blood vessels is reduced and it is easier for the heart to pump blood around the body.

Patients who take Amiloride may suffer from such side effects;

Nausea,
Diarrhoea,
Dizziness,
Vomiting,
Leg cramps,
Headache

Torasemide is used in the treatment of hypertension, Swelling of lungs and also the accumulation of water in the body

Torasemide is known as a diuretic. Torasemide works by helping the kidneys and removes excess water and electrolytes from the body. Torasemide promoted the excretion of water and salts through the urine.

Patients who take Torasemide may suffer from such side effects;

Dehydration,
Increased blood uric acid,
Hearing loss,
Fatigue,
Nausea,
Decreased potassium and magnesium level in blood,
Abdominal pain,
Vomiting
