Apigat, Apixaban

Apigat is used in the treatment and prevention of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. Apigat is also used for Reduction of stroke and clot risk in nonvalvular atrial fibrillation patients.

Apigat is an anticoagulant. Apigat works by preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. Apigat inhibits the platelet aggregation induced by thrombin, thus reduces and prevents the formation of harmful blood clots.
