Ezuric, Eplerenone

Ezuric is used in the treatment of hypertension, congestive heart failure after a heart attack, Cirrhosis and Low potassium.

Ezuric works by blocking the action of the hormone aldosterone in the body. Aldosterone is important for the regulation of blood pressure. Ezuric lowers swelling by removing excess water and electrolytes in the body. Ezuric works to remove excess water and electrolytes in the body without removing potassium.
