Uses

Olmesartan is used to treat hypertension and heart failure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke.

How it Works

Olmesartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It blocks the hormone angiotensin and relaxes blood vessels, so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart works efficiently.
