Zolmitriptan

Zolmitriptan is used for the treatment of migraine and the symptoms it can cause.

Zolmitriptan is known as a 5HT1-receptor agonist. Zolmitriptan is also known as triptan. Triptans such as Zolmitriptan work by stimulating the receptors of a natural substance in the brain called serotonin (or 5HT). This eases the symptoms of migraine headache.
