HQTOR, Hydroxychloroquine

HQTOR or HCQS is used in the treatment of malaria, rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus.

HQTOR works by blocking the action of chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation, swelling and redness which are associated with certain autoimmune diseases. HQTOR suppresses the underlying disease process, rather than simply treating the disease thus helping to reduce the symptoms.
