Linaxa is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
How it Works
Linaxa is a dipeptidyl peptidase 4 inhibitor (DPP-4) which works in the treatment of type 2 diabetes by increasing the amount of insulin produced by the pancreas, Linaxa also reduces the amount glucagon produced by the pancreas, Glucagon causes the liver to produce more sugar, so by reducing the amount of glucagon in the body, Linaxa helps to reduce the levels of glucose in your blood which in turn helps in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.
Common Side effects
Patients who take Linaxa may suffer from such side effects;
Nausea or vomiting,
Headache,
Cough,
Runny or stuffy nose,
Back pain,
Muscle or joint pain,
Loss of appetite,
Hypoglycaemia,
Headache,
Nasopharyngitis
