Uses
Vmac-AZ is an anti-parasitic medication that is used in the treatment of certain parasitic roundworm infections, heartworm disease, and hookworm infections. Vmac-AZ treats parasitic infections of the skin, eyes, and intestinal tract.
How it Works
Vmac-AZ works by paralyzing and killing the parasites in the beginning stages of its growth before it gets to mature. Vmac-AZ works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of the parasitic worms thus leading to their paralysis and death. Vmac-AZ is used as a long-term treatment to prevent infection and also eliminate any current infections. Vmac-AZ can also be effective for preventing intestinal infections caused by hookworms or roundworms
