How it Works
Imipramine is known as a TCA a tricyclic antidepressant which belongs to the dibenzazepine compound group. Imipramine has affects on the nerve endings in the body.Imipramine works by inhibiting the uptake of norepinephrine, which helps to trigger an increase in the concentrations of neurotransmitters in the brain. This can boosts and enhances the mood of patients who are depressed as a result of major depressive disorder or other related illnesses.
