Flucos Lotion, Fluconazole/ Zinc Pyrithione

Fluconazole is used in the treatment of Fungal infections

Fluconazole is known as an antifungal medicine. Fluconazole works by weakening the protective covering membrane of the cell, thus causing the cell contents to leak out, this allows the medicine to work in destroying the fungal cell, resulting in the death of the fungus and this then stops the infection from spreading.

Patients who take Fluconazole may suffer from such side effects;

Nausea,
Abdominal pain,
Skin rash,
Increased liver enzymes,
Upset stomach,
Loss of appetite,
Altered taste,
Diarrhea or loose stools,
Headache,
Dizziness

Do not take this medication if you allergic to fluconazole.

Make sure to inform your doctor of any medical conditions or allergies you may have prior to being prescribed to this drug.
Please also inform your doctor regarding the medications you are taking, whether you are pregnant or breast-feeding, and any other significant facts about your health in order for your doctor to specifically advise you on the use of this drug.

 Dose for  children under 12 years of age,  must be determined by your doctor.

-   Fearfulness, suspiciousness, or other mental change, 
-  Seeing, hearing, or feeling things that are not there.

Do not take other medicines unless they have been prescribed by your doctor after a thorough medical checkup.

Check with your doctor  if you or your child are having more than one of these symptoms such as:

-abdominal or stomach pain or tenderness
-clay-colored stools
-dark urine
-decreased appetite
-fever
-headache
-itching
-loss of appetite
-nausea and vomiting
-skin rash
-swelling of the feet or lower legs
-unusual tiredness or weakness
-yellow eyes or skin.

* Store this medication at room temperature and keep it out of the reach of children.
* Do not keep outdated medicine or medicine no longer needed.

Keep using this medicine for the full treatment , even if you feel better after the first few doses.
Your infection may not clear up if you stop using the medicine too soon.

Zinc pyrithione is used in the treatment of Dandruff.

Zinc pyrithione stops the growth of fungus by preventing them from making their protective covering thus stopping the infection from spreading.

Patients who take Zinc Pyrithione may suffer from such side effects;
