Salicylic acid is known as a keratolytic which is a peeling agent. Salicylic acid allows shedding of the outer layer of skin by loosening and softening the dry, scaly skin. Saslic DS Foaming Face Wash also works on reducing swelling and redness and thus causing pimples to shrink
